Bella Sera Harrison

To say that I am ready for school is an understatement. I think I have been ready since the summer holidays began and lucky for me I was able to do most of my homework without my mother begging for my help again. True, we were in India, but I think she could have had my grandfather help her insead of me. Oh well. I guess that is the trick of the trade of being the eldest daughter in the Harrison clan. Though India was nice this time of year, I am glad to be back in our home. Well for me it will be a shorter amount of time than that,but I am glad to be able to sleep in my bed once more before I surround myself in the hallowed halls of Hogwarts for my 6th year. One more year to go after this and then the process of what I want to do after that is up in the air, but I will figure it out all in due time.

but my summer was purely uneventful, if you count the bitterness that surrounded my parent's rather humiliating divorce, and sadly I hate my father for dancing around circles with my mother, not giving her what she deserved in it. Half of the estate was signed in her name when they bought the house to begin with so it's no suprise he wanted all of it. the gym was his to begin with so he can have that for all I care. But everything else will be split between Mama and me, and my new baby sister once she is old enough to know who her father is. The divorce was finally settled a few weeks ago so that won't be hanging over my mother's head once the school year starts. the only thing my mother will have to worry about is my sister, but I think she can handle it even if she is not herself at the present moment. A divorce will do that to you, but I am sure she will be alright.

But I am suprised at how much love I have for my sister. She is not even a year old yet, and i am already so taken with her. Phoenix Storm Harrison was born on April 12, which is four days before my birthday. Dad was long gone when she was born, but that is okay because my mother's twin brother, Jaiden was there to help her out and Phoenix came to be part of our lives. Mama says she was like me when she was born. Very quiet and never cries. only when she really wants something. If that was me when i was little, I should feel very proud indeed. I can only imagine what she will be like once she becomes my age. Only time will tell I guess. I love her and that is all that matters in my book.
And I think I rambled enough. I'll write more later. I will see most of you at school I am sure. Can't wait for that!
